Research

This section aims to provide you with some examples of good quality research into various aspects of sexual abuse, its effects, support and therapy, sex offending and prevention issues. It will concentrate mainly on research papers and reports. (See Library Section for books, facts sheets and leaflets). The material is drawn from academic journals and other sources.

An additional problem is that much published research is subject to copyright regulations, and this limits the amount of free text we can provide. Most published journal papers directly linked here are restricted to Free Full Texts available through Google Scholar. Also, we would re-emphasise that the site is in process of development and we aim to add further material over time.
