National Strategy Funding open for applications

SurvivorScotland is now taking applications for National Strategy funding for eligible projects from appropriate organisations.
The Scottish Government has allocated £850,000 funding for 2011/12 for the National Strategy for Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse
Funding is not for the maintenance of existing services but for the development of services in the priority areas outlined below although this does include existing services where further development of the priority areas is planned.
SurvivorScotland invites applications for funding for the following areas:
- Complex mental health for adult survivors of childhood abuse;
- Complex physical health for adult survivors of childhood abuse;
- Complex trauma for adult survivors of childhood abuse;
- Learning disability for adult survivors of childhood abuse;
- Minority ethnic services for adult services of childhood abuse.
- Services for male survivors.
- Services for male and female survivors in remote areas.
- Services on prevention of childhood abuse.
- Services to support survivors in prison.
