Service Development Fund

The Service Development Fund was set up to take forward the National Strategy for Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse with the aim of improving services, inetworking for both professionals and survivors, and promote development of appropriate research to inform future service commissioning and delivery.

The Scottish Government received a large number of high quality proposals to the Fund, the bids well exceeding the resources available. Only those organisations whose bids the panel considered most closely matched the criteria were therefore able to be funded. Read more on the Scottish Government Website

The Service Development Fund is only one step in the progress of the National Strategy. We hope to use this exercise positively in order to map out what existing services are currently available to survivors across Scotland, and enable us to identify gaps in services.
