The SurvivorScotland website has been developed by the Scottish Government to improve the lives of survivors of childhood sexual abuse and we hope that this site will provide helpful information if you have been affected by child abuse in any way.
SurvivorScotland oversees the Scottish Government's National Strategy for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
We aim to raise awareness of childhood sexual abuse and its long term consequences improve services and enhance the health and wellbeing of survivors. To do this we work in a variety of ways, including enabling organisations conduct research, collect data on the effects of abuse and share best practice on the best approach for recovery.
